Welcome to the Telpack Version 2 distribution page.

Telpack is a mathematical software for solving various stochastic models and queueing problems that arise in teletraffic analysis. The first version of Telpack tackled certain discrete-state models, and it was distributed back in 1997. Work on the second version has continued intermittently since then. The result of this effort is an extended and much more powerful package, which is coded from scratch for improved efficiency, reliability, and usability. We are happy to make this extended version available free of charge for your use.

Despite the name Teletraffic Analysis Package, the problems Telpack solves are of an abstract mathematical nature, and we will be happy if it happens to be of use to a student or researcher of a discipline other than telecommunications.
